The Catholic Cemeteries Association takes great pride in the maintenance and constant improvement of our cemeteries. It is our honor and duty to provide a beautiful, peaceful, and reverent resting place for our loved ones. We encourage families to express their love and respect with decorations, however there are a few policies in place to assure that decorations are displayed in a safe and organized manner:
Burials: Floral pieces are left on the grave for 48 hours after an interment is made. The flowers are wilted by this time and it becomes a nest for animals if left any longer. There is no regulation governing the number of floral decorations brought to the cemetery at the time of interment.
Entombments:Three floral pieces permitted outside of the building. Bouquets will be removed and discarded at the end of each work day.
We hope you can understand our position in establishing these guidelines. They are not of our personal choice but an absolute necessity in maintaining safe working conditions and the overall beauty of our Catholic Cemeteries.
For more information please refer to our Rules & Regulations.
