November 1st through March 15th
- Winter wreaths and other artificial decorations are permitted during this time. All decorations, including wooden crosses, should not exceed 36" in height.
- Decorations with spikes or stakes are prohibited and will be removed immediately.
- During the winter months, live or artificial wreaths may be ordered through the cemeteries.
- We cannot be responsible for damage caused to bouquet holders due to use during the cold winter months.
March 16th through October 31st
- Only fresh flowers in proper bouquet holders are permitted during this time.
- Wilted flowers are removed every Tuesday. This allows us to have three days to cut the grass with the least amount of obstacles. Fresh flowers are not removed unless absolutely necessary.
- Artificial decorations are not permitted during the cutting season. If found, artificial decorations will be immediately removed by cemetery staff. Artificial decorations placed for a holiday will be will collected the Tuesday following the holiday.
WINTER DECORATION FAMILY PICK UP IS MARCH 15, 2021. CEMETERY STAFF CLEAN-UP BEGINS MARCH 16, 2021, INCLUDING CROSSES.
Burials: Floral pieces are left on the grave for 48 hours after a burial. The flowers are wilted by this time and it becomes a nest for animals if left any longer. There is no regulation governing the number of floral decorations brought to the cemetery at the time of interment.
Entombments:Three floral pieces permitted outside of the building. Bouquets will be removed and discarded at the end of each work day.
Please make sure to label your decoration(s) with the deceased name and location.
